The cathedral in Aachen, Germany.
Although I’m quite pleased with the colors and detail (and the sharpness, despite the very high ISO), the composition is not so good (just look at the chandelier…).
Maybe this had to do because I had to be quick taking this one: photography was not allowed inside UNLESS you payed one Euro (!), which I didn’t (hey, I didn’t have one on me). If you payed, you could take photographs for private use only (they babbled something about copyright, but for some reason I think the original artists have been dead for ages, what’s more I guess this church was built with community money!).
Since I didn’t pay, I guess this one is not for private use only, so please enjoy!
